Setting a Retention Policy (BUI)

Use the following task to set a retention policy, which limits the amount of data collected over a retention period. To preserve disk space, it is strongly recommended that you set retention policies to meet your minimum business requirements. The maximum retention period is two years.

1. From the Analytics menu, select Settings.
2. Type an integer value into the text box.
3. From the drop-down menu, select one of the following retention periods: hours, days, weeks, months.
4. Click APPLY to save the retention settings.
