Install the Server Manager
- Extract the product archive to a location accessible from the computer where you are performing the installation.
- Log in to the computer as a user with Administrator rights.
- Navigate to Disk1/install.
- Run the file setup.exe to start the installer.
- Follow the steps described in the following table to complete the installation.

Click Next.

Specify Home Details
Enter the following information, and then click Next.
- Name—Name for the installation.
- Path—Folder where to install the CRF Submit Server Manager.

Install Options
Select Install Server Manager, and then click Next.
The installer verifies that the server has all the necessary software components. If any issues are identified, an error message is displayed.

Choose Oracle Client Home Directory
Enter the following information, and then click Next.
- Oracle Client Home—Oracle home where the Oracle Database Client is installed.

Server Manager Settings
Enter the following information, and then click Next.
- Server Manager Port—Port used by the Server Manager web service. Default is 52768.
- Business API Port—Port used by the Business API web service. Default is 20124.
- Web API User—Username to create for communicating with the other CRF Submit components. Default is CrfsWebUser.
- Web API Password / Confirm Password—Password for the Web API user.
Note: You must provide the details you set up here when you install the other CRF Submit components.

SMTP Settings
Enter the following information, and then click Next.
- Host Name—Host name of the SMTP server to use for sending request notifications.
- Port—Port used by the SMTP server. Default is 25.
- Username and Password—Credentials used to authenticate with the SMTP server. Optional.
- Sender—Email address from which to send request notifications.

Database Settings
Enter the following information, and then click Next.
- Host Name—Fully qualified domain name or IP address of the database server.
- Port—Listener port for the database server.
- Service Name—Service name for the CRF Submit database.
- TNS Name—TNS alias used to connect to the database.
If an entry with the same name already exists, you are prompted to reuse it before you advance to the next step.
- Schema Name and Schema Password—Credentials for the account to associate with the CRF Submit database schema.
Enter an account that does not exist. The installer creates the CRF Submit schema and tablespaces.
- DBA Username and DBA Password—Credentials for a database administrator.

Summary
Review the summary of the installation and click Install to start the installation.

Install
The progress of the installation is displayed.

End of Installation
Click Exit to complete the installation.
