Shared servers

The requirements in this topic apply to the computers where you install the following CRF Submit components: Server Manager, Connector Server, Storage Server, and DocGen Server.

CRF Submit software requirements

Component	Description
Operating system	Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2. Time zone—Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). Note: The time zone for the InForm database server must also be set to UTC.
Windows components	Internet Information Services (IIS) 8.5. For a list of IIS features to install, see IIS features required by the CRF Submit servers. Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6.2. SMTP server for sending request notifications (Server Manager only).
Oracle components	Oracle Database Client 12.2.0.1. Oracle Data Access Components (ODAC) 12.2.0.1.0.
Processor	Storage Server—Dual core 64-bit CPU or higher. Server Manager, Connector Server, DocGen Server—Quad core 64-bit CPU or higher.
RAM	Storage Server—8GB or higher. Server Manager, Connector Server—16GB or higher. DocGen Server—48GB or higher.
