Prepare the environment on the application server for installation or upgrade
Before you install the Empirica Signal software, prepare the application server by performing the procedures described in Getting the application server ready for the Empirica Signal application with WebLogic 12c or Getting the application server ready for the Empirica Signal application with WebLogic 11g.
Note: Oracle recommends using WebLogic 12.1.3 and Java 1.8 with Empirica Signal 8.1.x.
