A project in the Empirica Signal application is an organizational tool (similar to a folder) that allows you to group certain objects for reference and retrieval purposes. On the Empirica Signal pages that list objects (such as data mining runs, queries or case series), you can select a project to filter the list to only objects in that project. Projects have no effect on any computations.
When creating an object, you can assign it to a project; for example:
You can either select an existing project or create a new project. The list of existing projects includes projects for objects that you created or that are published to you. You can also choose not to use projects at all. By default, objects are unassigned.
Note: A project remains available until all objects associated with it have been deleted.
