Associating a topic with a drug-event combination

1.         Click the Signals tab.

The Drug-Event Combinations page appears.

2.         Click the row menu (Row menu) for the drug-event combination, and then click Document Review.

The Document Review dialog box appears.

3.         In the Topic Association section, do one of the following:

A.        If you do not want to associate a topic with the drug-event combination, select None.

B.        To associate an existing topic with the drug-event combination, select Existing topic and type the topic name.

or

To select a topic from a list, click Browse.

The Select Topic dialog box appears.

i.           Click the radio button of the desired topic.

ii.         Click OK.

The Document Review dialog box appears with the selected topic name in the text field.

iii.        Click OK.

The selected topic is associated with the drug-event combination, and the drug-event combination row is added as an attachment to that topic.

C.        To associate a new topic with a drug-event combination, select New topic, and do the following:

i.           From the Topic template drop-down list, select a topic template, or click Browse to select a topic template from the Select Topic Template dialog box.

ii.         In the Topic name field, type a name for the new topic.

iii.        In the Topic description field, type a description for the new topic.

iv.       Optionally, assign the new topic to a project.

4.         Click OK.
