Deleting a topic state

1.         Click Settings, and click Manage Topic Workflow Configurations.

The Manage Topic Workflow Configurations page appears.        

2.         Click the row menu (Row menu), and click Manage Topic States.

The Manage Topic States page appears.

3.         From the action row menu, click Delete.

A dialog box appears for confirmation. You cannot delete the Init (Initial) state, and you cannot delete a state that is currently assigned to any topics. To determine which topics are in a given state, click the Topics tab and then sort the table using the Current state column.

4.         Click OK.

5.         The Manage Topic State page refreshes with the updated table information.

Note: When you delete a topic state, it is removed automatically as one of the next possible states for any other states. You may need to adjust the e-mail notification rules and the assignment of next possible states for the remaining states.
