Import topic workflow configuration

On the Manage Topic Workflow Configuration page, you can import a previously exported topic workflow configuration using the Import Workflow Configuration File link.

To import the topic workflow configuration, you must have the Manage Topic Workflow Configurations permission. During the import, you can name and describe the topic workflow configuration.

The imported .dat file contains the following data:

• Topic schema version
• Export format version
• Exported timestamp
• Exported user information
• Topic workflow configuration metadata (Name, Description, and ID)
• Fields
• Up to 5000 defined values for fields
• Topic states and state information
• Topic field accessibility by state
• Action states and action state information
• Action field accessibility by state
• Attachment field accessibility by type
• Email notification rules
• Topic templates

Note: Fields with a work team context are not included in the export and import of Topic Workflow Configurations. Also, the Topic Field Modified and Action Field Modified email notification rules that reference fields with a work team context are not included. If these exist in the original Topic Workflow Configuration, they must be added to the imported Topic Workflow Configuration using Manage Fields and Manage Email Notification Rules.
