Mapping reviewers to users

On the Signals tab, reviewers can be assigned to drugs and drug-event combinations. In releases prior to Empirica Signal 7.0, signal reviewers were added explicitly and were separate from usernames. Beginning with the 7.0 release, usernames were used instead and, as a result, the existing signal reviewers were mapped to usernames. This mapping was performed during the upgrade to the 7.0 release. However, it is possible that the mapping was not performed completely during the upgrade and must be completed. In this case, if you have the Administer Signal Management permission, you can map the remaining reviewers to usernames as needed.

Note: If some, but not all, reviewers have been mapped to usernames, lists of reviewers on the Signals tab differentiate the reviewers with the suffix (user) or (reviewer) after the name. Once all reviewers have been mapped to usernames, the suffix no longer appears.

1.         Click Settings.

The Settings page appears.

2.         In the Configure System section, click Manage Reviewer-User Mapping.

The Manage Reviewer-User Mapping page appears and lists reviewers from the prior release.

3.         To list only reviewers who have not yet been mapped to usernames, select Display Unmapped Reviewers.

4.         Click the row menu (Row menu) for the reviewer who you want to map to a username, and then click Edit Reviewer User Mapping.

5.         From the User list, select a username. The username becomes the display name of the user.

6.         Click Save.
