About the installation process
The installation process for AERS interactive Signal Management includes:
- Installing the interactive AERS Signal configuration on the Empirica Signal application server.
- For users of scripted AERS Signal Management, converting the scripted AERS Signal Management to the new interactive AERS Signal Management.
- Configuring the Empirica Signal application to enable the Signal Management features.
Follow the instructions in Install and configure an interactive AERS signal configuration and Post install/upgrade (recommended) to install.
If you are already using AERS interactive Signal Management with Empirica Signal 8.1.1, the upgrade process for Empirica Signal 9.0 includes:
- Upgrading your AERS interactive Signal configuration on the Empirica Signal application server.
- Configuring the Empirica Signal application to enable new Signal Management features.
Follow the instructions in Upgrade AERS signal configuration from 8.1.1.1 to 9.0 and Post install/upgrade (recommended) to upgrade
