Selection Criteria section

In the Selection Criteria section of the prompt page, you can narrow the criteria for your report. This section might contain:

Cascading prompts
Checkboxes
Drop-down lists
Text boxes
Calendars
List boxes

Depending on the report, you can select one or more items to limit the report to your selections.

You can choose not to make any selections, which means no criteria are applied for a particular prompt to limit the reported data. Not making a selection often causes a report to run faster than selecting all values in the prompt list.
