Component	Description
Operating system	Supported Microsoft Windows platforms: 2008 R2 Standard Edition or Enterprise Edition with Service Pack 1 (64-bit). Note: The InForm 6.1.1.2 application server was validated using the Microsoft Windows 2008 R2 Enterprise Edition. For the recommended patches for Windows operating systems, see Windows patch recommendations for the InForm software.
Web server	Microsoft Internet Information Server 7.5 (IIS 7.5). Note: The IIS configuration must include the following: The DefaultAppPool Managed Pipeline Mode is set to Integrated. IIS 6.0 Compatibility is Enabled. Note: ASP.NET must be installed as a separate operating system component before you install the InForm software. For more information, see Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) 7.5 settings for the InForm application server.
Database client (64-bit)	Supported Oracle versions: Oracle 12c database servers: 12.1.0.2 Oracle 11g database servers: 11.2.0.4. Note: The InForm 6.1.1.2 application server was validated using Oracle Enterprise Edition 12.1.0.2 and Oracle Enterprise Edition 11.2.0.4. The Oracle 12c database and the Oracle 11g Standard Edition database and client are not supported if the InForm database and InForm reporting database are installed on separate database instances. Other	Microsoft MSXML 6.0 SP3. .NET 4.6 Note: You must install .NET 4.6 before you install the database client. ASP.MVC 4 Web Services Enhancements (WSE) 2.0 SP3 (only if using the InForm Server Adapter application). Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable (64-bit). Microsoft Access Runtime 2013. The following services must be installed, enabled, and running as part of the Windows 2008 Application Server role: COM+ Event System. COM+ System Application. Distributed Transaction Coordinator. Configured SMTP server. Note: The SMTP server sends email notifications from the study server. These emails send Password Reset notifications and links to report outputs from the Reporting and Analysis module. For these features to work as expected, you must configure the SMTP server to use the default mail folder locations. Do not install the Ink and Handwriting Services and the Desktop Experience Windows features as they may prevent you from being able to auto-deploy the study.
