Can I save report data so that I can monitor site progress over time?

Yes. To save a report with data, you can save it as a report view. A report view is a version of a report that contains the data at the time that you ran it. To save a report view, run the report, then click Keep this version, and select Save as Report View.

Why does my ad hoc report contain N/A in some rows?

When you run a report that contains any of the following, N/A might appear in the report:

Can I schedule my reports to run automatically?

Yes. You can schedule a single ad hoc or standard report to run at any time by clicking the Schedule icon (Schedule button. Click to schedule reports to run at specific times.) for the report. If you want to run more than one report at a time, you can create a job by clicking the New Job wizard icon (New Job button. Click to create a new job.). Can I share reports with other people?

Yes. You can schedule a job to run in the background and send an email that contains the report link. Users with access to the Reporting and Analysis module can access the report from the link. For more information, see the Reporting and Analysis Guide.

Can I create a custom dashboard with all the information I need?

Yes. You can create up to 50 personal pages to that you configure to contain the information that is most important to you. To create a personal page, use the New Page wizard. For more information, see the Cognos documentation.
