9.8 Deleting Pages in Component View

Deleting a page deletes the corresponding tabs, breadcrumbs, and list entries. Developers can only delete unlocked or pages you have locked.

9.8.1 Deleting a Page in Component View

To delete a page in Component View:

  1. View the page in Component View. See "Viewing a Page in Component View."

  2. Verify the page number.

  3. On the Component View toolbar, click Utilities and then Delete Page.

  4. Click Permanently Delete Page.

9.8.2 Deleting a Page While Editing Page Attributes

To delete a page while editing page attributes:

  1. Access the Page Attributes page. See "Viewing Page Attributes in Component View."

  2. Verify the page number and page name.

  3. Click Delete.

  4. Follow the on-screen instructions.

9.8.3 Deleting Multiple Pages

To delete multiple pages:

  1. View the page in Component View. See "Viewing a Page in Component View."

  2. Verify the page number.

  3. On the Component View toolbar, click Utilities, Cross Page, and then Delete Multiple Pages.

  4. Select the pages to be deleted and click Delete Pages.

9.8.4 Deleting a Range of Pages

To delete a range of pages:

  1. View the page in Component View. See "Viewing a Page in Component View."

  2. Verify the page number.

  3. On the Component View toolbar, click Utilities, Cross Page Utilities, and then Delete Multiple Pages.

  4. Click the Delete Pages by Range tab.

  5. Enter the pages to be deleted and click Delete Pages.
