Removing Email Suppressions for a User

Use the UserEmailSuppressionRemover API to remove email suppressions for a user so that the user can receive identity domain email notifications.

Note

Contact your IT team or email domain administrator to ensure that emails from the default sender address, no-reply@identity.oci.oraclecloud.com, aren't blocked. Your email server might receive these emails but then block, quarantine, or move them to the spam folder.

Identity domains use Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Email Delivery to send email notifications. Email Delivery might suppress an email address because of delivery failures, recipient complaints, or other issues. When an email address is suppressed, Email Delivery blocks further delivery attempts to that address.

If a user's email address is suppressed, you can use the UserEmailSuppressionRemover API to remove the suppression.

To use this API, you must be assigned one of the following administrator roles:

  • Identity Domain Administrator
  • User Administrator
  • User Manager
  • Help Desk Administrator

After you remove the suppression, the user can receive identity domain email notifications again.
