Utilities

Checks for the presence of required IAM policies. It does not perform any actions beyond verification (for example, no automatic creation or modification of policies).

To access policy verification in the Console:

1. Navigate to Model explorer.
2. Under AI quick actions, select the Utilities tab.
3. Select the model registration bucket name, evaluation bucket name, and fine-tuning bucket name.
4. Run each of the options to verify specific policies such as, common, model registration, deployment, evaluation, fine-tuning)

If required policies are missing, a notification appears. No automated fixes are applied. This process replaces manual policy verification and enables you to check policies collectively.

Recommends compatible Compute shapes for selected models to help you optimize AI workloads.

1. Navigate to Model explorer.
2. Under AI quick actions, select the Shape Calculator tab.
3. Search for a model by name (for example, type in a model identifier).
4. View recommendations in these categories:
   • Best Match: Lists all compatible shapes.
   • Fits with Adjustments: Includes model optimizations such as quantization.
   • All Available Shapes: Lists all available shapes for the selected model.
   Note
   
   Some models might not have recommendations due to backend limitations. In this case, no shapes are suggested. Compatible shapes are determined using the requirements of each model. These recommendations are informational only; you must manually select and apply shapes.
