Exporting a Runbook

Export a runbook along with all its associated resources and dependencies to another tenancy or compartment in Fleet Application Management.

Tip

By default, Fleet Application Management exports the latest version of the runbook unless you specify a different version.
    1. On the Runbooks list page, select the runbook to work with. If you need help finding the Runbooks list page or a specific runbook, see Listing Runbooks
    2. On the runbook details page, select Actions and then select Export runbook.
To export a specific version, go to the runbook's versions list page. From the Actions menu (three dots) for the runbook version, select Export runbook version. See Listing Runbook's Versions.
    3. In the Export runbook panel, review the selected runbook name and version. Then follow these steps:
      1. For Save location, select a storage location for the exported runbook package:
        • Object Storage Bucket: Store the exported .ZIP file in an Object Storage bucket. Then proceed to step c.
        • URL: Use a PAR URL link for a specific path. Skip to step d.
      2. If you selected Object Storage as your location, select the appropriate bucket compartment and the Object Storage bucket.
      3. If you have a generated PAR URL link for the bucket in Object Storage, enter the URL link.
    4. Select Export to begin the process.
The export process starts and Fleet Application Management opens the export status screen.

You can also navigate to the export status screen from the Runbooks list page by selecting Actions and then selecting View import and export status to monitor the export status and ensure it completes successfully.
