Creating a Cache Store in Generative AI Agents

Note

Before you create a cache store:

  1. In the navigation bar of the Console, choose a region that hosts Generative AI Agents, for example, US Midwest (Chicago). If you don't know which region to choose, see Regions with Generative AI Agents.
  2. Open the navigation menu and click Analytics & AI. Under AI Services, click Generative AI Agents.
  3. Choose a compartment that you have permission to work in.
  4. Click Cache stores.
  5. Click Create cache store.
  6. Enter a name and description.

    Start the name with a letter or underscore, followed by letters, numbers, hyphens, or underscores. The length can be 1–255 characters.

  7. Select the private endpoint for the VCN of the Redis cluster.

    If the private endpoint is in a compartment different than the current compartment, change compartment and then select the private endpoint.

  8. Select a listed Redis cluster.

    If the Redis cluster is in a compartment different than the current compartment, change compartment and then select the cluster.

  9. Click Create.
    Note

    Cache stores take a few minutes to create. After a cache store is active, it's listed for creating an agent.
