Customize an Oracle-defined Dashboard

You can duplicate and customize the Oracle-defined dashboards for supported Observability & Management services.

Oracle-defined dashboards provide insights into the key elements of the resources monitored by the supported Observability & Management services. For example, the Oracle-defined dashboards for Database Management provide an overview of the performance of databases. To customize an Oracle-defined dashboard:

  1. Go to the Dashboards page.
  2. For the Oracle-defined dashboard that you want to customize, click the Actions icon (Actions) and click Duplicate.
    If you have a long list of dashboards, then use the filters on the left pane or enter the name of the dashboard or service in the Search field above the list of dashboards to filter the list.
  3. In the Duplicate dashboard dialog box:
    1. Specify a name for the duplicate dashboard.
    2. Select the compartment in which the dashboard must reside.
    3. Click OK.
  4. Click the name of the duplicate dashboard to open it.
  5. Click Actions in the upper-right corner and then click Edit.
    In the edit mode, you can change the look and feel of the widgets by clicking the Actions icon (Actions) on the widget. You can also perform tasks such as adding and removing widgets and making changes to the filters specified for the dashboard. For information, see steps 5 and 6 in Create a Custom Dashboard.
  6. Click Save changes to save your changes.
