AWR Reports
With Ops Insights you can access AWR Reports directly from Database Capacity Planning. These reports are currently available only for private endpoint registered cloud databases, including autonomous and Exadata Database Service on Dedicated Infrastructure.
AWR Reports are not related to AWR Hub reports.
View and Download AWR Reports
To view and download available AWR Reports directly from the Capacity Planning page, locate the AWR reports column within the Database Details section. If the column is not visible scroll to the right to view. This will show a number amount of AWR Reports available for the chosen database, clicking on the number will provide a slide out menu with all reports for that database listed.
In the AWR Reports slideout select and click the AWR report name you wish to review, and select whether to View or Download the report. You can also search for a specific report using the search bar.
The AWR reports also allow you to select a time range, the time range is set to daily by default and can be changed to 7 days. Additionally, you can adjust the time range for the AWR Report to see dates in the past with a baseline of 7 days.
Read an AWR Report
In order to properly read the Per Second Baseline and Per Transaction Baseline line charts consider the following key:
- Left hand side of the line chart represents the minimum value
- Right hand side of the line chart represents the maximum value
- The bright green line represents the median value
- The width of the bar represents the 25 percentile
- The dot represents the latest available value.
Per Second Baseline metrics, refer to timed events (executions per second or reads per second) and provide a snapshot of the activity over the defined time range (daily or 7 days).
Per Transaction Baseline metrics, refer to the resource consumption associated with database transactions.
