Use a Cross-Tenancy OCI Vault and Master Encryption Key for an Autonomous Container Database (ACD)

On Oracle Public Cloud, you can use a customer-managed master encryption key from an OCI Vault in another tenancy when provisioning a new Autonomous Container Database (ACD). Existing ACDs are not supported.
You can add an Autonomous Data Guard standby to an ACD that was provisioned with a cross-tenancy OCI Vault and . The primary and standby ACDs must both have access to the same OCI Vault and master encryption key. For a standby in another region, configure a dynamic group and cross-tenancy IAM policies in the standby region to allow the standby ACD to read the OCI Vault and use the master encryption key.
