Big Data Service 3.0.28 has added additional features

Big Data Service 3.0.28 release has the following new features implemented:

Vertical and horizontal autoscale performance metrics now includes memory utilization.
Ranger authorization for Schema Registry.
For existing Kafka profile clusters, the public group is removed from default Kafka Ranger policies to restrict anonymous user access.
You can mount Oracle Object Storage using rclone with User Principal Authentication (API Keys) on a Big Data Service cluster node.
JupyterHub PyTrino kernel provides an SQL interface that allows you to run Trino queries using JupySQL.

Bug fixes include:

BDSCustomAuthenticator issues during multi-threaded concurrency in HDFS connector.
Deprecated use of openjdk in ODH images.
