A new version of oci-fss-utils for File Storage in-transit encryption is available

A new version of oci-fss-utils for File Storage is now available.

Version 4.0.0 includes:

  • The ability for on-premises and cross region clients to use TLS mounts.
  • Support for providing the common name (cname) argument per mount command for certificate validation. For mount points in different realms and regions, each with its own cname for mount target, this is especially useful.
  • Improved connection management and resource utilization.
  • Efficient routing and connectivity to mount targets without the need for IP forwarding, iptables, and NAT.

To upgrade, uninstall the previous version from your instance, and then install the new version. See Using In-Transit Encryption for instructions.
