Bring Your Own Reservations for Data Science

You can use existing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Compute capacity reservations with supported Data Science resources, including notebook sessions, single-node jobs and job runs, and model deployments. Bring Your Own Reservations (BYOR) uses Compute capacity that's reserved in your tenancy without transferring the reservation to Data Science.

Before you use BYOR, contact the Data Science team to request enablement for the tenancy and target region. BYOR usage is subject to supported shapes, required IAM policies, service limits, and available reserved capacity.
