Select Models for Agents in OCI Generative AI Agents

You can now select a large language model (LLM) as the routing LLM for your agents during creation or editing in the OCI Generative AI Agents service. Select from on-demand models or dedicated AI cluster endpoints in the OCI Generative AI service to optimize your agents for tools such as RAG and SQL. You can also update the default hyperparmaters for these models to better align with your requirements.

To view details about the models—such as their names and hyperparameters—enable tracing for the endpoints while chatting with your agents. For a full list of supported regions and models, plus more on this feature, see Model Selection in OCI Generative AI Agents in the documentation.

This release enhances AI agent flexibility. Future updates expand supported models.
