Client Secrets for Oracle-Provisioned Applications Are No Longer Visible

To strengthen security, the OCI Console will no longer display the client secret for Oracle‑provisioned Oracle Cloud Services apps. If you use these credentials, create a integrated application / confidential applications (custom auth client) and use its client ID and client secret. This change starts on May 15, 2026. Any previously retrieved secret will be rotated and will NO longer be functional.

• Action required: Create and use your own integrated application / confidential application before May 15, 2026. After this date, Oracle-Provisioned app client secrets aren't viewable in the Console. See Adding Applications.
• Scope: Administrators in affected identity domains (OC1).
• Impact: No change to existing Oracle services that use these applications. Customer-created applications are unaffected.
