HeatWave: Support for Version 9.3.2
- Services: HeatWave
- Release Date: June 24, 2025
HeatWave now supports MySQL database 9.3.2. This is the latest Innovation release. It provides security and bug fixes in addition to feature enhancements. You can select version 9.3.2 when creating a new DB system. For existing DB systems, you must manually upgrade them to newer version, such as from version 9.3.1 to 9.3.2.
HeatWave version 9.3.2 (Innovation) supports automated discovery and listing of all available LLMs and embedding models in HeatWave, speculative decoding in content generation using HeatWave GenAI, and customized segmentation of text during vector store creation using Auto Parallel Load. HeatWave AutoML now supports drift detection for anomaly detection. HeatWave Lakehouse now supports direct loading of compressed CSV and JSON data, and loading of vector columns from CSV and Parquet files. If you are keen to leverage the most recent advancements and enhancements, and stay abreast of cutting-edge technologies, then the Innovation release might be the best fit for you. On the other hand, if your application requires established behavior, the LTS (8.4.x) or Bugfix (8.0.x) releases are more suitable.
