This chapter contains information about using Oracle Data Integrator to archive and purge data in Oracle Business Activity Monitoring (Oracle BAM).
This chapter contains the following topics:
Oracle BAM is integrated with Oracle Data Integrator which can be used to move large amounts of data into and out of the Oracle BAM schema. Use Oracle Data Integrator to extract, archive and purge data in a production environment. See "Using Oracle Data Integrator With Oracle BAM" in Oracle Fusion Middleware Developer's Guide for Oracle SOA Suite for more information.
There are two methods by which you can purge data in Oracle BAM:
Manually clear the contents of the data object in Oracle BAM Architect. See "Clearing Data Objects" in Oracle Fusion Middleware Developer's Guide for Oracle SOA Suite for more information.
Construct an alert using the Delete rows from a Data Object action. See "Delete rows from a Data Object" in Oracle Fusion Middleware Developer's Guide for Oracle SOA Suite for information about using this alert action. For general information about creating alerts see "Creating Oracle BAM Alerts in Oracle Fusion Middleware Developer's Guide for Oracle SOA Suite.
