get-dns-prop

Syntax

tadm get-dns-prop common_options --config=config_name (property_name)*

Description

Use this command to view the Domain Name Server (DNS) properties. DNS associates a standard IP address such as, 192.0.3.11, with host names such as, www.example.com.

Options

For information about common_options, run the help command.

--config|-c

Specify the name of the configuration to view the DNS properties.

Operands

property-name

Specify the name of the property that you want to view (Optional).

You can view the following DNS properties:

enabled
async
timeout

Example

tadm get-dns-prop --user=admin --host=admin.example.com 
--password-file=./admin.passwd --port=8989 
--no-prompt --config=www.example.org timeout

Exit Codes

The following exit values are returned:

0: command executed successfully

>0: error in executing the command
