Checking Out Documents

You check a document out of Oracle WebCenter Content to prevent others from checking in a new revision until you either check in a new revision or cancel the check out. This is useful if you are planning to make changes to a document offline and won't be able to upload the new revision until after you get back online.

Tap the Action icon and select Checkout when viewing the document or the document properties page to check out a document. When the document is checked out, the menu option changes to Cancel Checkout.
