When a view is copied it contains all the charts, metrics, and configuration settings of the view from which it is copied.
To copy a view:
You are prompted to enter a view name or accept the default name.
Result
The copied view is displayed in the Monitoring Dashboard the assigned name. You can modify the charts in metrics as appropriate as explained in Work with charts in the Monitoring Dashboard. The changes you make to the copied view are automatically persisted and in effect only for your user account and only in the current domain. They are available to you the next time you launch the Monitoring Dashboard. Note, however, that polled metric values that are displayed in views are not persisted after you close the Monitoring Dashboard window. For more information, see Using the Monitoring Dashboard.
