Stopping a Web
application makes it unavailable to WebLogic Server clients. Stopping an
application does not remove the deployment files from the server; you
can later restart a stopped application by clicking its
Start button.
To stop a deployed
Web application:
In the
left pane of the Administration Console, select
Deployments.
In the
right pane, select the check boxes next to the Web applications you
want to stop.
Click
Stop.
Choose to stop the Web applications when work completes, to force
the applications to stop immediately, or to stop the Web application
but continue servicing administration requests. When you stop the
applications but choose to continue servicing administration requests,
the applications stop servicing client requests but continue serving
administration requests until you choose a different start or stop
option.
