Oracle Fusion Middleware Release 12c (12.1.2) includes the following new and changed features for this document.
New annotations for attaching policies programmatically to asynchronous callback services. See Attaching Policies to Asynchronous Callback Services.
New predefined reliable messaging policies. See Predefined Reliable Messaging Policies.
New predefined atomic transaction policies. See Chapter 6, "Using Web Services Atomic Transactions."
Fast Infoset, a compressed binary encoding format that provides a more efficient serialization than the text-based XML format. Fast Infoset optimizes both document size and processing performance. See: Chapter 7, "Optimizing XML Transmission Using Fast Infoset."
New standalone Web service client JAR files that support basic Oracle Infrastructure Web service client-side functionality and Oracle Web Services Manager (OWSM) security policy support. See Chapter 10, "Invoking a Web Service from a Standalone Client."

The "Annotation Reference" chapter has been removed. This content was redundant with the Java API Reference for Oracle Infrastructure Web Services javadoc and the "Security and Policy Annotation Reference" in Securing Web Services and Managing Policies with Oracle Web Services Manager.
