Delete resource group templates

Deleting a resource group template permanently removes it from the domain's configuration. When you delete a resource group template, all of the applications deployed to the resource group template are undeployed. You cannot delete a resource group template that is being referenced by one or more resource groups. You must remove the references to the resource group template before you can delete it.

To delete a resource group template:

If you have not already done so, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Lock & Edit (see Use the Change Center).
In the left pane of the Console, expand Environment and select Resource Group Templates.
On the Summary of Resource Group Templates page, select the resource group template you want to delete and click Delete. Confirm the deletion.
To activate these changes, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Activate Changes.
Not all changes take effect immediately—some require a restart (see Use the Change Center).
