Update (redeploy) standalone JDBC modules


When you modify a standalone JDBC module, the changes are persisted to a deployment plan. Changes to dynamic settings take effect immediately after you activate your changes. For non-dynamic settings (indicated by a yellow triangle), changes take effect after you update (redeploy) the JDBC module. To update a standalone JDBC module:

  1. If you have not already done so, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Lock & Edit (see Use the Change Center).
  2. In the left pane of the Console, select Deployments.
  3. In the Deployments table, select the check box for the JDBC module you want to update (redeploy).
  4. Click Update to redeploy the module.
  5. Change the source and deployment plan paths as desired.
  6. Click Finish to confirm your decision.
  7. To activate these changes, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Activate Changes.
    Not all changes take effect immediately—some require a restart (see Use the Change Center).
