Execute or Revert a Stopped Patching Workflow

You can manually execute or revert any stopped patching workflow that is in a CANCELED, REVERT_CANCELED, FAIL, or REVERT_FAIL state.

Note: If you selected the Auto Revert on Failure option when you created the workflow, it will automatically revert from a FAIL state and there is no need to manually revert it.

To execute or revert a stopped patching workflow:

  1. In the Administration Console, click on the domain name under Domain Structure.
  2. On the Settings for domain_name page, select the ZDT Control tab.
  3. Select the Workflow Progress tab.

The Workflow in Progress table shows all workflows that are in an executing, reverting, or stopped state.

  4. Select the workflow that you want to manage.

You can execute or revert only one stopped workflow at a time. Do not select multiple workflows.

  5. Click one of the following buttons:
    • If you want the selected workflow to continue with the rollout, click Execute. The workflow continues from the last successfully completed command.
    • If you want the selected worfklow to revert, click Revert. The workflow reverts all steps starting with the last successfully completed command.
