Delete virtual targets

Deleting a virtual target permanently removes it from the domain's configuration.

Note: You cannot delete a virtual target that is currently in use as an available or default target by a partition or resource group. Remove it from the partition or resource group first.

To delete a virtual target:

If you have not already done so, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Lock & Edit (see Use the Change Center).
In the left pane of the Console, expand Environment and select Virtual Targets.
On the Virtual Targets page, select the check box next to the virtual target instance that you want to delete.
Click Delete and confirm the deletion.
To activate these changes, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Activate Changes.
Not all changes take effect immediately—some require a restart (see Use the Change Center).
