This graphic shows an example of the flow of execution in the WebLogic Server logging process. WebLogic Catalog APIs or Commons Logging APIs are used for producing messages; Java Logging (default) and Log4j are options for distributing messages. The Server Logger can send messages to the following components, as appropriate:

• Stdout handler

• File Handler

• Domain Log Broadcaster

• JMX Log Broadcaster

• Memory Handler
