Information About the Sample (and Full) Spatial Dataset
A sample spatial dataset is included in the Sample Application when installed with Oracle Business Intelligence. It is also available from OTN at Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition Samples.
The sample spatial dataset is included in the OBIEE_NAVTEQ schema of the Oracle Database in the SampleApp image. You can download a standalone export of the OBIEE_NAVTEQ schema (obiee_navteq.dmp) from the SampleApp archives page OBIEE SampleApp Archives using the link NAVTEQ Data Bundle for OBIEE found under OBIEE 11.1.1.3 - Sample Application (Build 825).
Instructions for importing the data bundle are included in "Loading MapViewer Content" in the document accessed from the link Documentation Downloads. Note: The import process requires SQL scripts in the setup files available from the link Sample Application - Setup Files.
The MapViewer sample dataset contains the following: Worldwide Country boundaries, States for US, Canada, Australia, US Counties, major cities of the world, US Highways, street level detail data from 2012 for San Francisco, London, and Sydney only.
