This figure shows the Oracle Event Processing server life cycle. The initial event is to start the server, startup core engine bundles, startup Oracle Event Processing bundles, register MBeans, and startup application bundles. This leads to the initial state: STARTING. After all application bundles are deployed, the Oracle Event Processing server transitions to the RUNNING state. When you shutdown the server, after all application bundles are shutdown, the Oracle Event Processing server transitions to the SHUTTING_DOWN state. Then MBeans are unregistered, Oracle Event Processing bundles shutdown, and core engine bundles shutdown.
