This section summarizes the new features and significant product changes for Developing with WebCenter Content in the Oracle Fusion Middleware 12c (12.2.1.1.0) release.
For 12c (12.2.1.1.0) release, this guide has been updated in several ways. Following are the sections that have been added or changed.
Added a section to describe the installation of JDeveloper extension. See Install WebCenter Content Connection Extension for JDeveloper
Updated the example of config.cfg
file. See The config Directory
Updated the example of intradoc.cfg
file. See The bin Directory
Deleted the chapter “Integrating JavaServer Pages with Content Server” as the jspserver feature was deprecated.
Removed references to JavaServer Pages (JSP).
Imaging: Imaging component is now part of WebCenter Content Server. The Viewer URL Tool is implemented which provides direct access to View Document user interface function. See Accessing Imaging User Interface Functions Through URL Tools
The XML structure of Annotations for document sets is changed. See Annotations XML Structure
In previous versions, two domains were used: one was the UCM/Content Server domain, the other (referred as WCCUI domain) for WCC UI. In 12.2.1, there is only one WCC domain, which includes both Content Server and WCC UI. The middleware home is now set to WCC_MW_HOME. See Customizing the WebCenter Content User Interface
