Update a deployment plan

If your application contains a deployment plan, you can use the Administration Console to update the deployment plan.

  1. If you have not already done so, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Lock & Edit (see Use the Change Center).
  2. In the left pane of the Console, select Deployments.

    A table that lists all of the deployments currently installed on WebLogic Server appears in the right pane.

  3. In the Deployments table, select the name of the application for which you want to update the deployment plan.
  4. Select Deployment Plan.
  5. Select Tuning Parameters to update tuning parameters.
  6. Select Resource Dependencies to modify information about the resources required by your application
  7. Click Save.
  8. To activate these changes, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Activate Changes.
    Not all changes take effect immediately—some require a restart (see Use the Change Center).

After you finish

When you finish making changes, update (redeploy) the application that uses the deployment plan to reflect the changes you made.
