Remove application overrides

If you no longer need to customize a specific application in a resource group, you can remove an application override.

To remove the overridden settings for an application or module:

  1. If you have not already done so, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Lock & Edit (see Use the Change Center).
  2. For domain resource groups: in the left pane of the Console, expand Environment, then select Resource Groups.

For partition resource groups: in the left pane of the Console, select Domain Partitions, then select the name of the partition. Select Resource Groups.

  3. Select the name of the resource group containing the application or module with the override you want to remove.
  4. Select Deployments.
  5. Select the checkbox next to the application or module for which you want to remove an override.
  6. Click Remove Override.
  7. Review the remove override settings, and click Finish.

The application override is removed and the application uses its original configuration.

  8. To activate these changes, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Activate Changes.
Not all changes take effect immediately—some require a restart (see Use the Change Center).
