Delete EJBs

When you delete an EJB, you completely remove it from the domain. Once you delete an EJB from a domain, you must reinstall it if you want to again make it available to WebLogic Server clients. To temporarily make EJBs unavailable to WebLogic Server clients, you can stop them instead of deleting them. See Stop EJBs.

To delete an EJB:

  1. If you have not already done so, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Lock & Edit (see Use the Change Center).
  2. In the left pane of the Console, select Deployments.

A table showing all of the deployed EJBs and other components is displayed in the right pane.

  3. In the Deployments table, select the check boxes next to the EJBs you want to delete.
  4. Click Delete.
  5. Click Yes to confirm your decision.
  6. To activate these changes, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Activate Changes.
Not all changes take effect immediately—some require a restart (see Use the Change Center).
