Obtain OAuth 2.0 Token for Oracle Analytics Cloud

You need an OAuth 2.0 access token to authorize access to the Oracle Analytics Cloud REST APIs, test analytics content embedded into applications, or call the Oracle Analytics Cloud MCP Server endpoints.

If the Access Tokens tab isn't displayed in your Profile window, go to the Advanced tab in your profile window, click the Enable Developer Options button, and click Save.

These options are available from your Profile page:

• Access Token - Use this token to make Oracle Analytics Cloud REST API calls, test embedded analytics content, or use an MCP server.

  Refer to the text at the top of the Access Tokens tab to learn how long the access token is valid for. To obtain a new token, click Refresh tokens.

• Refresh Token - Use this token with the valid access token to programatically get a new access token before the access token expires.

1. Go to your Oracle Analytics Cloud home page, and click the name badge with your initials.

2. Click Profile.
3. In My Profile, click Access Tokens.
4. Click Download tokens to download the tokens.json file containing the access token and refresh token. Or, click the access or refresh token's Copy button to copy the token.
