Setting the Configurable Unmasking for the Bank Account Numbers
Access the Revise Data Protection Configuration form.
- Configuration Record Type
- Use the 00/CO UDC to specify the type of configuration that you want to define
as exception from the masking of bank account numbers. Values are:
1: Use this option to enable the field to specify the program that will have the bank account numbers unmasked. When you select this option, the system defaults the value in the User/Role ID field to enable unmasking of bank account numbers for all roles and users.
2: Use this option to enable the fields to specify the user or role, and the program that will have the bank account number unmasked. With this option, you can define a record for only one user or one role at a time. - User/Role ID
- Enter a value from the Library Lists - User table (F0092) to specify the user ID
or the role ID that will get access to the unmasked bank account numbers. The
system enables this field when you enter 2. in the Configuration Record
Type field.Note: If you define a role-based configuration record for a program, then the bank account numbers in the program are unmasked only when a user selects that role at the time of login to EnterpriseOne. To unmask the bank account numbers on a program for all the users by using the *ALL role, you must create a configuration record as type "1."
- Program ID
- Enter a value from 00/PI UDC table to specify the program ID for which to unmask
the bank account numbers. The system enables this field when you enter a value
in the Configuration Record Type field. Note: If you define a role-based configuration record for a program, then the bank account numbers in the program are unmasked only when a user selects that role at the time of login to EnterpriseOne. To unmask the bank account numbers on a program for all the users by using the *ALL role, you must create a configuration record as type "1."
- View/Update
- Enter a value from 00/VM UDC table to specify whether to provide the viewing
rights or the update rights for the bank account numbers for the specified role,
user, and the program. Note: The system gives precedence to the user ID over the role ID for the type of right defined for a bank account number in a program. For example, if you give a role ID the right to update the bank account number in a program, but a user just the viewing right to that program, the system will allow that user only to view the bank account number for the specific program even if the role that the user belongs has the update right.
