Serial Number Selection for Test Results Entry (Release 9.2 Update)
When you access the Enter Test Results program (P3711) from the Row exit of the Hours and Quantities program (P311221) and the Super Backflush program (P31123) for a serialized item (lot process type 4, 5, 6, or 7), the system enables you to choose the serial number against which you want to enter the test results.
If the serial numbers are already generated for the work order in the Assign Serial Numbers program (P3105), the system displays the P3105 program before you enter the test results. Select the serial number to proceed to the P3711 program.
If serial numbers have not been assigned for the selected order, then the P3711 program generates the serial number for lot process types 5 and 6 using Next Numbering. In case of serialized items with processing types 4 and 7, the lot/serial number field is left blank.
