Register Your Own Generative AI Models to Use with AI Assistants
AI Assistants in Oracle Analytics Cloud use registered generative AI models to provide AI-powered capabilities throughout Oracle Analytics Cloud. Oracle Analytics Cloud offers a range of preregistered Oracle-managed generative AI models available in your region (for example, Grok and OpenAI), and also enables you to register user-managed generative AI models that you've hosted on dedicated AI clusters in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
Before you can register a user-managed AI model (as a custom LLM) in Oracle
Analytics Cloud, you or an OCI administrator must set up a dedicated AI cluster on OCI, deploy the model, and add the security policies that allow Oracle
Analytics Cloud access to it. Oracle
Analytics Cloud currently supports OpenAI gpt-oss-120b models that you deploy on dedicated AI clusters. See Enable Access to AI Models You Deploy in a Dedicated AI Cluster.
After you register your model in Oracle
Analytics Cloud, it appears in the Registered Gen AI Services list alongside the Oracle-managed AI models available in your region. From here, you can view details such as the model type, region, availability, and approximate relative cost. Your registered models also appear in the Model Availability list where you can assign them to Oracle
Analytics Cloud features.
