About Oracle Analytics AI Assistants Configuration

You can choose to enable built-in knowledge when using generative AI for Oracle Analytics AI Assistants.

Note:

Support for third-party LLMs ended in November 2025. After the November update, any Oracle Analytics features that used third-party LLMs, such as GPT4-Turbo (OpenAI), are reconfigured to use Oracle’s default GenAI services.

Oracle Analytics' generative AI provides feedback and insights targeted solely on your data. You can access a broader range of supporting information by enabling Oracle Analytics to include its built-in knowledge, which allows for more complex interactions with Oracle Analytics LLM features.

Assistants requests are always processed within a secure Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environment. However, your Assistants requests may be routed to another OCI region for processing. Verify local regulatory requirements before enabling or using this functionality.

Oracle marks information provided by its generative AI's built-in knowledge with a dictionary icon Dictionary icon. Oracle marks information provided by your data with an Oracle logo icon, making it easy to determine the source.
