View the Calendar of Schedule Integration Runs

If too many schedule integrations start at the same time, they might experience contention. Ease the contention by staggering the start times. The Future runs page provides an overview of all runs scheduled to trigger in the future, across all schedule integrations whose schedules have started.

Note:

The Future runs page works on the browser time zone, and does not support the selected time zone under the Preferences option of the User menu in the upper right corner of the page.
  1. In the navigation pane, click Observability, then Future runs.
    The Future runs page appears.

The Future runs page shows a filter, the Today button, < button, > button, and 17 October to 23 October 2022 dates. At the far right is the Week drop-down list. Below this is a table that shows columns for the integration schedule names and each day of the week, beginning with Monday the 17th. The number of runs per day for each schedule integration is displayed.

  2. At the far right, use the drop-down list to select the time period to view (by minutes in a day, by hours in a day, by week, or by month).
    • For the week and month views, each Diamond icon icon in the chart represents the first run of that day, followed by the count of runs for that day. For example, Diamond icon +23 means there are 24 runs for that day for a particular schedule. Hovering over the Diamond icon icon shows details, including the time and information about the first run (represented by the Diamond icon icon).
    • For the day view, both by minutes and hours, all future runs are displayed. Every run is represented by the Diamond icon icon. Hovering over them shows the processing time for that run and the sequence (for example, 2 of 20) of that specific run in the day.

You can also zoom in and zoom out, when needed.

  3. Click a specific number (for example, 23 for Simple Schedule on Wednesday) to show the scheduled runs for the selected time period (for this example, hours in a day).

The Future runs page shows a filtered value of Simple Schedule, the Today button, < button, > button, and 17 October to 23 October 2022 dates. At the far right is the Day (Hourly) drop-down list. Below this is a table that shows columns for the Simple Schedule integration schedule and each hour of the day, Wednesday the 19th.

  4. Hover your cursor over each entry to display the schedule integration name, runtime, and run sequence.
  5. Click the schedule integration name in the first column to access the Schedule and future runs page for that schedule.
  6. Click Filter icon to filter by integration name and view future runs of that integration.
